Jesus' Unwavering Patience

In today's world, patience is a rare commodity. We live in a fast-forward society, demanding instant gratification and convenience at every turn. But the account we find in today's sermon text offers a powerful contrast. Here, we see Jesus – the very embodiment of patience – encountering an impatient world. The Samaritans rejected Him, the disciples wanted quick vengeance, yet Jesus didn't succumb to the pressure to react in haste. Instead, He extended His message of salvation with unwavering patience. We, too, are recipients of God's incredible patience. Despite our shortcomings, our stumbles, and our moments of rebellion, He remains steadfast in His patience and love toward us.
